Welcome to my portfolio! I'm a visual artist and I make paintings and sculptures of everything that fascinates me. The world is truly worth looking at, if you're willing to see it. Step out of the daily rush for a moment: I do that while painting, and it gives me so much positive energy.
I hope my work gives you that feeling too. I believe you can achieve more with positivity, without closing your eyes to the problems. In my work I put people and animals in the spotlight. My work is like nature: strong, individual and with its own remarkable strokes.

Paintings
Making paintings remains my greatest passion. Here you'll find, among others, paintings in the Portraits category. I paint freely from photos I come across and give them my own twist. I'm also painting more and more commissioned portraits, in the style you see here and throughout the website.
Of paintings that have already been sold, I've had very high-resolution images turned into giclées: high-quality printed reproductions of my own paintings. You'll find them in the shop.
Drawings
Every now and then I swap the brush for that slightly different feeling of working on paper. Sometimes it's simply an idea that comes to me, sometimes the inspiration just asks for a sketch, or for the delicate work of pencil and charcoal on beautiful paper.

Sculptures
I started making sculptures a few years ago, and it's something very special. It's as if you're working together with the elements: shaping the material to your will, while also listening to the limits and hardness of the form hidden inside it.
In my sculptures I find a longing for expression, an urge to capture the essence of nature in the contours of stone, always leaving a piece of raw material visible. Every creation is a journey, a voyage of discovery into what I can create with special materials.
