Having a portrait painted is something special: a painted portrait is more than a photo. It goes beyond reality. I put a certain feeling into it that a photo simply can't capture. Before I paint someone, I like to know who they are: what's their character, and what do we want to bring out? I adjust my colours to that. The way someone looks at you says so much about who they are. A portrait should be a good likeness and interesting to keep looking at. There's a layering in it that I also see in people.

How does it work?
Fill in the form below and I'll get in touch with you. Together we'll discuss your wishes: the size, the image and the colours.
I paint from a photo and work with my own portrait photographer. Once we've agreed on the work and the price, you'll receive an order confirmation with an estimated delivery date. When your portrait is delivered, you'll of course also receive a certificate of authenticity.
