Painting lessons in Ootmarsum

Would you like to learn to paint? In my painting lessons in Ootmarsum we dive together into the world of oil paint. We start with the basics: setting up a composition, mixing colours, learning to look, and using the right materials.

Once the basics are in place, we go looking for your own style. That's different for everyone. The lessons are in small groups, so there's plenty of personal attention for everyone. Discover how relaxing, fun and rewarding it is!

What will you learn?

• The basic techniques of oil painting
• Mixing colours and building your own palette
• Composition: how do you set up a painting well?
• Learning to look at light, shadow and form
• Working with brush and palette knife
• Developing your own style

In every lesson you work step by step on your own painting. I walk around, give personal tips and regularly show how I apply certain techniques myself. That way you see straight away how to take your work to the next level. And the best part: you don't need any experience to start, enthusiasm is enough.
